His Word in My Heart – Janet Pope

Yesterday I had the wonderful blessing of talking to Janet Pope, who wrote the book His Word in My Heart, which is a great book that will help you to learn to memorize passages of the bible.

Janet Pope has memorized 14 books of the bible since 1992. She has also had the opportunity to speak all over the place, and encourage thousands of believers to get the Word of God into them.

    Great show, Stacy, with Janet Pope. I listened today and have continued in memorizing my third psalm: Ps 91. I've had some difficulty with it, but it helped that you asked Janet if there are discouragements or interferences from the devil while trying to memorize scripture. At first, I thought to myself why was I having such a hard time with this psalm, but I can see now how the devil wants to try to steal what I've memorize....sooo in Jesus' name, I will continue to press on. Let us all press on towards putting God's Word in our hearts, mind and spirit. Praise the Lord!!! I also liked what Janet said about how she has seen the harsh side of God during the course of her memorizing Scripture, and I also liked how she ended saying that we will love God more the more we know Him through His Word. Hallelujah...I feel praise comin' on. :o}
