The No on Prop 8 People Are Starting to Freak Out Because Yes on 8 Appears to Be Winning in the Polls

A couple of days ago I wrote about how some Christians appear to be getting duped into voting NO on Prop 8, and yet it appears that maybe the snoring Church is beginning to wake up.

According to a few blogs I’ve been reading, as well as a few new sites, more people are now saying that they will vote YES on Prop 8. Here’s a blog entry I read, which quoted an email from Geoff Kors,

Two polls show we’re loosing, balance shifts (I corrected the misspelling of the word shifts) against gay marriage in California - now is the time to act
Our worst nightmares are coming true.

Today we learned of the massive $25.4 million our opponents have raised so far. They are using this war chest to broadcast lies: 24/7 and up and down the state of California.

And the polls show the lies are working.

Yesterday’s CBS 5¹ poll shows that:

“…likely California voters overall now favor passage of Proposition 8 by a five-point margin, 47 percent to 42 percent. Ironically, a CBS 5 poll eleven days prior found a five-point margin in favor of the measure’s opponents.”

And of course the rest of the email is a piece which begs for money to support the campaign. This is a normal tactic for both sides of the campaign.

So we will see what side decides to show up at the polls. The truth is that no one really knows who will win this vote. For the sake of America and traditional families, I hope the church shows up and casts a vote for YES on 8 because all that will do is keep marriage the way is was defined by the Creator.

VOTE YES ON 8 - MARRIAGE IS ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN ONLY.
