Sarah Palin Hits the Ball In To Next Week, But Some Can’t Stand Her Hair???

I have been loving all the news chatter that I’ve heard since last night about the speech Sarah Palin gave last night. As an extremely conservative woman, I am totally proud to see a conservative woman, who is close to my age (she’s 4 years older than I am), and yet it is absolutely amazing some of the crazy things I’ve heard on the radio and also read here online. Just for fun, here are some of the stories I’ve seen that I just think are very interesting.

And I wonder how Hillary is doing today? :)

But first, can you believe the shallowness of Lauren Beckham Falcone a writer at Boston Herald.com, then I do not know what is shallow. I’m not surprised because even lesbian blogger Pam Spaulding broached this issue a few days ago. I guess this is what you do if you can’t argue on substance - ATTACK a person’s HAIR! :)

Stylists to passe Sarah Palin: Let your hair down

And then there is Huffington Post writer Jennifer Donahue, who really really takes exception to Palin. Check out this line from this article.

“She was good… very sarcastic, I thought. But no, she’s still a pro-life gun toting, oil-drilling Conservative. Hair up or hair down, it won’t change my vote,” says a stay-at-home mother of three.

Kind of makes you wonder if Governor Palin is Lois Lane. Last night the hair went down but the glasses stayed on. Maybe after her convention speech bump, which I expect will compete handily with Obama’s, the campaign will drop the other shoe and take the glasses off.

I just think this is funny commentary because these women are commenting on someone who is pro-life, conservative, loves guns and also wants our country to drill for oil. All very very horrible things to these women and yet, she compares her to Lois Lane - who incidentally did not wear glasses that much. That aside though, does this mean McCain is Superman? :)

And meanwhile there are rumors that the liberal media pundits are going to do their best to dig up “dirt” on her. And believe you, me, if they can’t, they will make it up. Here are a few of the relatively new stories breaking now on MSNBC ( you know that fountain of truth )

Alaska police union files complaint against Palin

The GOP candidate for vice president, Gov. Sarah Palin, may be facing yet another ethics investigation back in her home state of Alaska. An ethics complaint obtained by NBC News was filed Wednesday by the police officers union in Alaska, requesting a probe into possible wrongdoing by the governor or her office. It was brought on behalf of state trooper Mike Wooten, an ex-brother-in-law of Palin who is at the center of the “Troopergate” scandal.

Do you hear the media going “bla bla bla…”. I do. Stay tuned, because this is going to be a bumpy ride!
