Sex Trafficking in the United States of America

This isn’t a fun topic to blog about, but I have a need to tell you about this new podcast from Concerned Women for America because it is vital that we pay attention to this horrible issue of sex trafficking. And for me personally, it is no longer an “out there” issue. Let me tell you why.

In my work as a counselor I have the blessing of working in a safe house for women. This is a safe house for women who have been victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking. A few months ago I had the opportunity to meet with and learn first hand the story of one of the women who had been a victim of human sex trafficking right here in the United States. I found this woman unbelievably strong, and also very compassionate. In fact, she touched the lives of every woman in that house and it changed them. She changed me.

So let us not forget that there are REAL people who are victims here and despite how awful it is to look at the vilest of sins against humanity, we must. Click here to listen to Dr. Janice Crouse talk about the issue of sex trafficking in the United States of America.
