If there is one thing in the church that angers me more than anything it is those “Pastors” who commit sexual crimes. The “pastors” that commit sexual crimes against children and those who allow their perverted sexual appetites to defame the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is not a shock to anyone who knows anything about American church culture these days concerning the high use of pornography within the church and her leaders. Frankly, it makes me want to puke. And while I understand that sometimes sexual sin like becoming addicted to pornography is something that a person “falls into” – there is absolutely no excuse and never will be an excuse or reason good enough for me, for a pastor of any type to molest children. Those pastors should be severely punished by either spending the rest of their lives in prison or by getting the death penalty.
Now, with that said, Ingrid Schlueter has written a good post on this subject here. She wisely begins her post by citing why pastors in foreign lands where there is persecution are arrested and then cites numerous articles about why the American pastors are arrested – it’s not Christian persecution – it’s child sexual abuse and more.
