Jerry Falwell: His Life & Legacy

Tomorrow I have the honor of interviewing the widow of Jerry Falwell, his partner in life, Macel Falwell.

In preparation for our talk I have just about finished the book that she wrote about her life with Jerry and all I can say is that I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Once I’m finished with my copy I’m going to lend it to my pastor so that he can be encouraged by one of the most involved Pastors in America.

As I read through this book I have learned so much about the man, Jerry Falwell. And to be honest, aside from hearing all the slander this man has received from the liberal media and others, I didn’t know much about Jerry Falwell.

NOW, I understand why Dr. Falwell has been respected and admired by so many. It was Dr. Falwell who began the Moral Majority, and it was he who was a visionary for Liberty University and so many other things.

He was truly a man of faith and He truly trusted in the Lord and this book has made me laugh out loud and also at times made me cry because of God’s faithfulness to him.
