Call Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry at 405-521-2342 and ask him to please support Rep.
Sally Kern, not condemn her. She has a right to express her views. For declaring that the
homosexual lifestyle is wrong and has serious consequences, she has received death threats
and her son has been falsely accused of exhibiting homosexual behavior. Sally’s office has
been flooded with calls by homosexuals, so do not try calling her. Instead, please e-mail her
at sallykern@okhouse.gov and include “support” or “prayer” in the subject line.

I’m currently working on updating you about the latest with Oprah’s book club A New Earth, but in the meantime I wanted to direct you to an excellent article written by Berit Kjos titled – Oprah and Tolle fuel New Age revival.

Berit does an outstanding job explaining what exactly Oprah and Eckhart are really teaching. I found the following paragraph especially interesting…

” Tolle’s teaching is anything but new. One of his sources of inspiration was the 13th century “father of German mysticism,” Meister Eckhart, who wrote, “He who would be serene and pure needs but one thing, detachment.”[4] It’s interesting that Tolle did “let go” of any attachment to his original first name, Ulrich. He changed it to Eckhart.”
