2007 ACM Highlights - Jan - June

UPDATE: January 1, 2008 - I’ve been sick the last week, so I decided not to update the rest of the year.

Won’t you walk down memory lane with me…

JANUARY

I had the opportunity to interview three great ladies in the first month.  Kathi Macias, an absolutely wonderful writer and good friend, Lisa Harper, also a great writer and Anne Collier who wrote the book MySpace Unraveled.

The hottest post was when I wrote about an episode of Janet Parshall’s America and Janet’s comments about the Christian bashing at the Sun Dance festival.

FEBRUARY

I covered the Restore America conference in Oregon and got to interview… Dr. Ken Hutcherson - (pictured with me) , David Brog, Judge Charles Pickering, Rick Scarborough and Herb Titus, among others.

I also did podcasts with Tricia Goyer who wrote Arms of Deliverance, Jodi Cowles who wrote Minor Protection Act and Rick Green the cohost of Wallbuilders Live.

Two of the hottest posts were when Peter LaBarbera received an apology from Barry Wick and of course the one where   homosexual Graham Kaye threatened to treat me like a pinata.

And the media story that ran way too much was on the death of Anna Nicole Smith who was 39 when she died.

MARCH

In March I was also attacked by militant homosexual activist Adam Kautz, and one of the hottest posts was about how some gay activists didn’t condemn violent threats against me.

Eric Volz  was wrongly imprisoned in Nicaragua for a murder he didn’t commit.

APRIL

The story that impacted me the most was when militant Islamic murderers slaughtered three Christians in Turkey.  That was a huge story and made it into all the local and international media coverage.

The Ban on Partial Birth Abortion was upheld.

ACLU went after the Gideons.

Johnny Hart creator of the beloved comic BC died.

The Parents Group Launched from Stephen Bennett ministries and I joined.

MAY

May was an eventful month as I traveled with my husband to Israel for a whole week.  There were many highlights there, but the one that stands out the most for me was being able to spend a full day with Kay Arthur from Precepts Ministries International.

I also did my first international podcast with Tom & Bonnie Deuschle from Africa about their new CD and what the Lord is doing in Africa.

I also interviewed a few people, including Greg Howlett, Deborah Smith Pegues and Bree Noble.

Christian rocker Kim Hill received another Dove Award for her great music.

School District to Pay $99,776.74 for Censoring Christian Group

Dr. Jerry Falwell died and the militant homosexuals around the country rejoiced showing their hearts.

And three Indonesian Sunday School teachers were let out of prison early. 

JUNE

I interviewed Pat Sikora about her book and also Dr. Marvin Newell about this wonderful book from Moody Publishers called A Martyr’s Grace.

Ruth Graham dies, the wife of Billy Graham.

Rabbis curse Jerusalem for gay pride parade.

Eharmony.com targeted by lesbian claiming discrimination
