Disc Golf

Okay, here’s a disclaimer, I love to try new sports, and my buddy Hal over at The Great Separation just told me about disc golf, so I had to tell you about it.

I just got home from a sporting goods store and unfortunately they didn’t have all the discs that one needs to begin with, but I did get a good deal on two of the three needed. Normally discs run about $10 a piece and I got mine for $7 - so it’s a beginning.

Anyway, here’s how disc golf works in a nutshell. You take your discs and you throw them into a wired type basket, just like on a golf course. Normally courses are in parks and most of the time they are free to go into and if they are not free it’s only a few dollars (literally) to go and play. Unlike golf which really is a rich man’s sport.

What I like about disc golf if that anybody any age can play it. It’s absolutely perfect for the whole family, because small children can throw a disc, as well as elderly people.

If you’d like to know more, just watch this You Tube video below, it just describes it for you.

The normal user would believe taking the time to prepare stories on this subject is a waste of resources.
