…today I came across two posts that are genuinely funny. The first is from ABC News - you know, that bubble gum network - Jihad: the Musical’ Hits Edinburgh Festival . Here’s the beginning of their article - “With songs like “I Wanna Be Like Osama” and “Building a Bomb Today” set to jaunty tunes and a high-kicking chorus line, “Jihad: the Musical” opened this month in Scotland to packed audiences, mixed reviews and inevitable controversy.”

And another post I want you to see is a hilarious post from my buddy Roscoe Daley. Roscoe is truly a great guy and he’s got a great wit. This week his Ask Roscoedinejad column is absolutely hilarious. Click here to read it.

This morning I received this Press Release from my friend Dave Crowe, Founder of Restore America located in Oregon. Read on, this is amazing.

Declaring War on Straight America: Big Mistake!
August 23, 2007

LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON - Yesterday, the Salem Statesman Journal announced that a “new gay- rights group called Know Thy Neighbor announced plans Tuesday to publicize the name of everyone who signs referendum petitions to overturn two gay-rights bills passed by the Legislature this year.”

What the writer of the article, failed to tell us until the very last sentence is that they intend to publicize our addresses as well.

Big Mistake!
Americans dislike tactics of fear and intimidation. It smacks of Nazi Germany, Stalin, Mao, Arafat, and fanatical Islam, and is the harbinger of things to come. Such an announcement supports the common view that this determined special interest group will stop at nothing to force our acceptance not only of their behavior, but our compliance to their wishes and world view.

Gloves Off!
Americans have had enough. Forcing acceptance of their sexual behavior against our will, at the price of our right to make moral distinctions as families and communities, has now become more than most Americans can tolerate.

With a plethora of states and a heavy majority of voters saying “NO” to same sex marriage, along with a deepening disrespect for the will of the voters by our elected officials and this special interest group, Americans are fed up.

By this tactic, the homosexual lobby and their sympathizers are asking for a confrontation that they alone seek, and now appears necessary.

No more Placating, Appeasing, or Pacifying!
The days of appeasing, placating and pacifying the homosexual community are over. It doesn’t work. And neither will it work in Oregon.
Neville Chamberlain and the English people found out that appeasing Hitler and his Nazi sympathizers did not work. And neither has it worked with the communists, the Ayatollahs, Arafat, Castro, Chavez or North Korea.

First Step: Sign the Petitions!
Oregonians would be well served to sign petitions 303 and 304 with a resolute determination to disallow a small, well funded, and well organized special interest group, and their friends in the Oregon legislature, from redefining marriage and morality without our consent.

Placing both bills on the November 2008 General Election Ballot is in the best interest of all Oregonians.

Those who wish to sign the two petitions may do so at a participating church or by visiting either the Concerned Oregonians Booth or Booth (#534) at the Oregon State Fair in Salem, August 24th to September 2nd.

I have a lot of thoughts concerning the Press Conference that took place this morning with Mayor Jim Naugle, but most importantly, I think a video is worth more than I can say. Janet Folger, President of Faith 2 Action was very rudely interrupted during her time at the podium. Literally within 40 seconds, a man who professed to have AIDS, by the name of Michael Emanuel Rajner started screaming and acting unruly towards her.

Which just goes to show the world, in living color, that it’s the homosexuals like this guy with AIDS, who have a real problem with the TRUTH about the consequences of that sinful and unnatural sexual behavior. And I’m not sure how he got AIDS, but the likelihood is that it was probably through unnatural sexual behavior, like sodomy. Or it could’ve been drug abuse and in very rare cases, blood transfusions. My guess is he contracted AIDS through sexual behavior - which explains why he’s so angry and upset. It’s a lot easier to yell and scream at someone who is telling the truth, than to take personal responsibility for one’s behavior.

All the Mayor and Janet and the others are trying to do is get the message across that illegal sexual behavior should be stopped in public places. And sadly, Michael Emanuel Rajner, couldn’t contain himself, like a mature adult, long enough for Janet to speak. It’s really very sad.
