Here’s an interesting article from Reuters today that you may want to read in its entirety. Here’s one quote I want to highlight for you.
|
“Gays and the church are no small matter in America. Many of the country’s 60 million evangelicals view homosexuality as a sinful lifestyle choice — a stance that angers gay activists who say their sexual orientation is not a choice.” And the article goes on to say… “The Bible could not be more clear — all forms of homosexual behavior are expressly condemned as sin,” said R. Albert Mohler Jr., the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in a recent statement on the issue. “Hudson says such attitudes both underscore the importance of her church for gay Texans and explain its size.” |
Yet, if you read the article you will note that they do not address the issues of homosexuality, apparently.
And they probably also disregard this scripture as well.

Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. |
In other words, there are many people who sincerely think they are going to enter into the kingdom of heaven, but few will find it.
