Earlier today I had the opportunity to speak with Alan Chambers, the President of Exodus International, about a new book that he and the staff of Exodus has written called God’s Grace and the Homosexual Next Door: Reaching the Heart of Gay Men and Women in Your World

In our 20 minute podcast we discuss the need for the church to begin reaching out to the gay community.  I tell you a little bit about the quiz that’s in the book, Alan shares his testimony and we discuss the old adage "hating the sin and loving the sinner" and why that’s not the best thing to say to a homosexual.  We end the interview by offering a challenge to pastors to step out and begin to engage the homosexual community and to repent of their fear.

What does one say when you are flatly accused of being imperfect? Seriously…the last time I checked there was only one person in the human race who was perfect, and He got killed for it. Well, apparently the second most perfect person in the world, Keith Olbermann - you know, that guy with pathetically low ratings on the network that’s barely staying afloat because Fox News is stomping them in ratings, has named Newsbusters as his “worst persons in the world” on a recent show.

The reason Mr. O did this is because apparently he’s pretty clueless about real bad people in the world like this guy, this guy, this guy.

Of course since Newsbusters was named in this illustrious category, could these guys - him, him, him , him or herbe next?

Apparently Keith took issue with an error that was made in this post, but the problem is that the post was promptly corrected when the error was brought to the authors attention.

And I have to say, as someone who contributes to Newsbusters, if this is the largest error Mr. O can find and it warrants being called the worst persons ever…it must be a very nice world he lives in.

Maybe if he lived in the real world he’d see how absolutely ridiculous he’s been.

Today I have the distinct honor of introducing you to a spectacular band called The Annie Moses Band.

This isn’t your everyday average Christian band, this is an extraordinarily trained and highly talented family band.

Annie Wolaver and I had a conversation yesterday about her band, family, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I can tell you that she is an extraordinary young lady - in  every sense of the word.

Annie’s bio is impressive and I wanted to share with you the last paragraph because it sums up what this band and family are all about.

Annie has given her devotion as passionately to the AMB as she did to her classical studies. Currently, the Annie Moses Band is in demand, touring full time through the US. Through family unity, musical excellence, and a diverse and unique musical style, Annie and her family desire to encourage families and inspire young people to excellence.

Annie feels profoundly blessed to be part of the AMB, and though over the years many of her goals have changed, she remains true to her purpose, and looks forward to a bright future as a musical leader.
