It’s not everyday that I get to sit down and talk to one of the most brilliant apologetic scholars of our day, so when I was told about this new book by Dr. JP Moreland and Dr. Klaus Issler, I knew I had to get the book.
After I got the book, I knew I had to interview one of the authors, and so Dr. Moreland was gracious enough to take time out of his Sunday afternoon to have a conversation with me about his latest book The Lost Virtue of Happiness: Discovering the Disciplines of the Good Life.
This is by far one of the best books I’ve read concerning the application of scripture and the integration of psychology. Drs. Moreland and Issler have truly given the reader a feast of ideas, exercises and biblical insight concerning how to form a receptive heart towards God and others, ways to keep your mind stayed on God, risking with God and how to defeat two of the greatest problems in our day – anxiety and depression.
This book is also packed with personal testimony from both Doctors and if I was a teacher and you were in my classroom, this would be required reading.
