The truth is that many Christians I’ve found really do not care. The problem is that every Christian needs to care because this will impact our future and society.

The following is taken from an email I received from Save California. Read on and take action.

Now let’s work to kill the two other bills that would sexually indoctrinate schoolchildren, AB 606 and AB 1056. Look what these bills would do:

AB 606 would authorize the California Superintendent of Public Instruction to arbitrarily withhold state funds (around 2/3rds of a school district’s budget) from any district that does not adequately promote transsexuality, bisexuality, or homosexuality in its school policies. AB 606 repeals the current state law prohibiting transsexual, bisexual, and homosexual curriculum from being forced upon local schools, and authorizes the state Superintendent to develop new curriculum that affirms transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality in all its forms. When he was a state senator, Superintendent Jack O’Connell voted for AB 1649 to authorize government fines of $150,000 against businesses that refused to hire cross-dressers. STATUS: AB 606 has a June 21 hearing in the Senate Education Committee.

AB 1056 would spend $250,000 in taxpayer dollars to in a 25-school “pilot program” that would promote transsexual, bisexual, and homosexual lifestyles under the banner of “tolerance education.” STATUS: Because of its price tag, AB 1056 is on the “suspense” file in the Senate Education Committee.

IF YOU WANT THESE BAD BILLS DEFEATED, TAKE THESE STEPS NOW

Schwarzenegger’s public pledge to veto SB 1437 means this is a whole new battle, where pro-family citizens have the advantage. Here are new action steps for you to take, whether you’ve called or emailed previously or not.

STEP 1. Send a brand-new email message to Governor Schwarzenegger.

This is a NEW message for both newcomers and previous users of CCF’s Email Lobbying System. This free pro-family tool empowers you to 1) thank Schwarzenegger for his promise to veto SB 1437, and 2) urge him to also announce he’ll veto AB 606 and AB 1056.

STEP 2. Call Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office right now and leave a recorded message (phone numbers are below).

Governor Schwarzenegger really needs to hear from you, especially since angry homosexual activists are calling him. For example, SB 1437 author Sheila James Kuehl, is still trying to rally support for her bill. In an interview with the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, the lesbian state senator said, ‘‘I’m going to spend the next couple months making certain he hears from the thousands of people who think he should sign the bill. I want the governor to understand that there is a lot of support for this bill in his state and very little actual opposition.”

Can you believe Kuehl’s statement? When so many people have called and emailed their opposition, and even most newspaper editorial boards have opposed SB 1437? SHOW ARNOLD SCHWARZEGGER HOW WRONG KUEHL IS. Act now to show him that the majority of Californians and Americans are happy that SB 1437 is doomed, and convince him that you want the two other sexual indoctrination bills vetoed as well. Call Arnold now to demonstrate the strength and numbers of the pro-family majority!
