Nebraska Judge Denies Jail to Sex Offender Because He’s Too Short">Nebraska Judge Denies Jail to Sex Offender Because He’s Too Short

In an astounding ruling by a Nebraska District Judge Kristine Cecava, a child sex offender is given ten years of probation instead of jail time. The reason - the judge believes that the child sex offender is too short for prison!

Convicted child sex offender, Richard W. Thompson, is reported to be only a 5-foot-1 man and the judge fears that he will not be safe in prison.

This is just another outrageous example of a judge who has lost all common sense. Did the judge consider the height of the child who Richard W. Thompson violated sexually? Apparently, not!

Instead, once again, an innocent child of sexual abuse is denied true justice because a demented judge has more regard for the safety of the predator.

District Judge Kristine Cecava also decided that Thompson would only be electronically monitored for the first four months of his ten year probation, and she told the child predator to stay away from using pornography and contacting under age children.

According to a biography of Judge Cecava she is one of eight female District Court Judges in the state of Nebraska. She received her law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1976 where she was a member of the Law Review and received the Order of the Coif.

She has served in a variety of positions including Country Attorney and County Judge prior to her appointment as District Court Judge in 1999 and was president of the Nebraska County Judges Association in 1996. Her professional involvement has included the Nebraska Commission for the Protection of Children, the Supreme Court Gender Fairness Task Force, the Rural Resources Task Force, the NSBA Indigent Defense Task Force and the CSA/NSBA Special Committee to Review Nebraska Juvenile Codes.

Maybe the Judge would like to start a new commission to serve on for the equality of short children who survive the sexual abuse of sexual predators. Bill O’Reilly, I believe we have another judge for you to go after.

CWFA: Alabama Clinic Botches Abortion ">CWFA: Alabama Clinic Botches Abortion

Concerned Women for America has a sad but need to read article today concerning an abortion that was botched due to the use of RU 486.

In an outrageous act of medical carelessness, an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, administered the deadly abortion drug RU-486 to a woman in her third trimester of pregnancy, resulting in a stillborn baby. The Alabama Department of Health suspended the clinic’s license, and a hearing on June 20 will decide whether the license will be taken away permanently. Pro-lifers are encouraged to attend the 9 a.m. hearing and request that the clinic’s license be revoked.

Summit Medical Center ignored the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) guideline that restricts the use of RU-486 to the first 49 days of pregnancy. The woman was reportedly given the drug by an unlicensed staff member at the clinic. This is another example of abortionists abusing the drug and that the only way to keep women safe is to remove it from the market. (More…)

Marriage Protection Amendment">Marriage Protection Amendment

A vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment is expected in the U.S. Senate in early June, possibly on the 6th or 7th. Since this is a Constitutional amendment, a 2/3rds vote (67 of the 100 Senators) is needed for passage. At this point, about 51 are known to favor the proposed amendment.

Call your two U.S. Senators at 202-224-3121, asking them to support the Marriage Protection Amendment. If the institution of marriage is not protected, judges may someday force your church to accept and perform homosexual unions at the risk of your tax exempt status.

Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt Served Court Martial Paper for Praying in Jesus’ Name!!">Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt Served Court Martial Paper for Praying in Jesus’ Name!!

The criminalization of Christianity continues as Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt has now been served with official papers for court marital. Not only is this unbelievable, but if you listen to the audio of this interaction you will be outraged.

Listen now to the actual audio confrontation that took place when Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt was served these papers. LISTEN NOW! The audio is only about a minute.

Now is the time to take action on behalf of all the Christian Navy Chaplains who are being forced to deny the name of Jesus in their prayers.

The following information is taken from the Vic Eliason program which you may listen to on VCY America.

According to Navy chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, it was originally only a suggestion that he not pray in Jesus name, a suggestion that in itsef is a violation of federal law because since 1860, U.S. code has allowed chaplains to pray the way their civilian bishop prays, and not the way the commanding officer would order them to pray. In spite of that, Chaplain Klingenschmitt’s commanding officer tried ending his career for not only praying in Jesus name, but also for quoting from the Bible in a chapel memorial service.

The Secretary of the Navy has now signed a policy overturning 231 years of Navy history, ordering that outside of a chapel setting, chaplains must pray non-sectarian prayers; that to use the name of Jesus is too faith-specific. All faiths must be appealed to equally in each prayer.
