Marriage Protection Amendment">Marriage Protection Amendment

A vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment is expected in the U.S. Senate in early June, possibly on the 6th or 7th. Since this is a Constitutional amendment, a 2/3rds vote (67 of the 100 Senators) is needed for passage. At this point, about 51 are known to favor the proposed amendment.

Call your two U.S. Senators at 202-224-3121, asking them to support the Marriage Protection Amendment. If the institution of marriage is not protected, judges may someday force your church to accept and perform homosexual unions at the risk of your tax exempt status.
