Earlier today Dr. Charmaine Yoest was a guest on Your World with Neil Cavuto. She was on discussing the issue of more single women buying homes. What was interesting about this 5 minute segment is that Mr. Cavuto not only framed the debate in a negative manner towards Charmaine’s point of view, but he also gave the other woman debating this issue more time and didn’t interrupt her like he did Charmaine.
Normally I enjoy Neil’s show (as much as I can for a boring money show) but today I’m annoyed at how rude he was. Watch the clip and see how biased he came off.
As usual, Charmaine showed wonderful grace under pressure, and the points she was trying to make but kept getting interrupted for were very important. Husbands and wives are partners. The woman doesn’t have to "be depending on that big lug" to support her. That’s not what marriage is about.
But hey, when the host of the show is biased towards your point of view, what do you expect.
