Last night Bill O’Reilly entertained Georgia Payne the author of a book on sexual dominence. O’Reilly packaged the interview under the heading – "policing private behavior" because recently there was a man named Michael Lord (53 yrs) who died of a heart-attack in the home of Barbara Asher, a woman who is a professional dominatrix who was "dominating" Lord in her "dungeon".
When Lord collapsed, Asher allegedly left him tied up, she and her boyfriend then dismembered the body and then left it in the state of Maine. Asher is charged with manslaughter and her trial began last week. See news coverage here.
O’Reilly had Payne on because she wrote a book about the domination business. O’Reilly then tells Payne his concerns:
Health concerns because dominatrix’s don’t know the health history of the people receiving the services that are offered.
Payne alleges that they do ask clients if they have any health issues, or pace-makers.
O’Reilly then emphasizes the big big risk the providers of these "services" are taking and doesn’t know if this behavior should be legal.
Payne then replies, "Well I think you’re taking a risk if you run down the street, take part in a marathon, have lots and lots of sex…I think that ummm" – O’Reilly interrupts…and mentions that if you are inflicting pain and all of that then that is way more than a marathon.
Payne then defends her career by saying, "What people don’t understand is that role play and power exchange and role reversal are the primary factors in this sort of play, not pain."
O’Reilly then asks about how many states make this illegal?
Answer: Payne doesn’t know how many, but there are some.
O’Reilly, "You have no problem with this industry at all?"
Payne: "Well, I work in it, so I absolutely have no problem with it."
O’Reilly, "Why do you work in it?…Why do you want to put yourself at risk like this?"
Payne: "Well, I abide by all the laws in the state of California…and so I take all the precautions that I can …umm, I abide by the law."
What I find stunning about this interview is that O’Reilly packages this interview with the preface being about a woman whose client died during a dominatrix session, and then subsequent alleged murder.
He asks Payne, a well known expert in this disgusting industry for her opinion about the safety in the industry and whether or not it should be legal. Real reporting and research could have been done by O’Reilly and his staff to expose how much damage is done by this industry, but instead he gives this woman a platform to make this industry more well known, as well as promoting her book.
A cursory search on Georgia Payne reveals the following:
- She promotes "dirty downloads" via her website that are downloadable on you ipod and are pornographic
- She has a list of websites that sell "fetishy fashions", "latex" and other disgusting things
- She has tips and tricks on spanking and bondage including pictures inappropriate for anyone
- She heavily promotes "BDSM" which means"bondage & discipline/dominance & submission/sadism & masochism"
- Her interests include the following: My interests include but are not limited to the following:

Types of Play:

Now I don’t know about you, but O’Reilly shouldn’t have had this woman on his show. She offered nothing of substance concerning the issue at hand, and he gave her a national platform to promote her abominable lifestyle.
I would like to request that all of you who believe in the power of prayer to ask the Lord to deliver this woman from the bondage she is in (literally) and help her to see how destructive, immoral, and sad her life choices are. Pray also for Bill O’Reilly that he would have better discernment in the future.
