Rest, Relaxation After the GodBlogCon

I’ve been home about an hour from attending the GodBlogCon these past few days and I have to tell you that I am exhausted…but at the same time I am encouraged and was uplifted by everyone I met at this awesome conference.

In fact, I have so many thoughts going on inside my head that it is very hard to know where to begin, so I’ll just share my heart with you all.

I think Hugh Hewitt had a great idea, and he deserves many kudos for dreaming up this event. In fact, this has been the best conference I think I’ve ever attended. The reason is because people were authentic and real. I could really feel the love in the air, and when a blogger shares their wireless laptop with you so you can check your gmail, you know it’s love!

I had many highlights I will be sharing with you, but I have to say that Matt Anderson, “Mere-Orthodoxy” is a great guy and a godly young man who deserves many many thanks. In case you forgot who Matt is, he is a reviewer with Mind & Media, but he is also the guy that orchestrated this whole event. He was able to get students from Torrey Honors to help out and I’m telling you, THEY were wonderful! Biola did an awesome job!!

In fact, Matt, if you’re reading this, I want to gift you with a new site design for your blog and just thank you publically for all the great work you’ve done! I think everyone would agree the very least we could do for Matt is give him a stellar design and so Matt – this is for you!

To be continued…
