Crown of Fire: Chapters 8 - 11

Last night I snuggled up in bed and continued to read this great book, but my eyes got heavy and I didn’t get as far as I had hoped. I was only able to read four chapters, but I’m telling you, these were GREAT chapters.

All I can tell you is that I have bent just about all the pages in these chapters because it’s so rich with great information. Ransom’s dad is taken away by some very mean people and is told by his dad to go to John Knox’s home.

Once Ransom is there, John Knox totally takes him under his wing. They move into the castle with some other guys who are sitting under Knox and the story continues. Ransom is threatened by a bully and at the same time is being shown as a wiser man than the rest, despite his youth.

When I left off Ransom and Knox had to leave quickly to learn something about the fate of Ransom’s dad.
