Meet Daddypundit Tom Our Exclusive Reviewer of the Week

One of the blessings of having my own online company is meeting the people who "work" for me.  Tom Parsons is one such guy :)

So today I sat down, in my bathrobe, because it was very early my time, and we did an interview with Tom about why he blogs, how he started blogging and some of the blessings he has received as a result of blogging.  Including one recent blessing with author Nancy Pearcey using part of one of his reviews.

Here is more about Tom, that I got from Tom himself :)

Tom Parsons is a team manager for one of the largest third-party claims administrators in the country. He has spent the last 15 years in the insurance industry mostly handling workers’ compensation claims for large companies. He says he only went into the insurance business because (1) he needed the money and (2) he couldn’t make a living as a broadcaster which was his first career choice out of college. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A.- Industrial Relations).

Tom and his family attend a Southern Baptist church where he is lead worshipper. Tom is also an avid baseball fan but confesses that despite his better judgement he roots for the Chicago Cubs.

He and his wife live with their two daughters in Southwest Virginia.

Tom has been blogging at Daddypundit (http://daddypundit.blogspot.com) since October 2004. He has also been contributing at Two or Three (http://www.twoorthree.net) since February 2005 and Blogcritics (http://www.blogcritics.org) since May 2005. He has just joined Stones Cry Out (http://www.stonescryout.org) as a contributor (read the announcement here: http://www.stonescryout.org/archives/2005/06/more_stones_to.html
