Did You Know…?

New Survey Says Word of Mouth Sells Books
A new survey shows a friend’s recommendation sells a book more than the millions of dollars publishers pour into marketing, promotions and advertising every year. Of the people who took the survey, one in four said the last book they read was recommended by a friend. The answer that came in second was those readers that follow a particular author. Only 6-percent said they selected a book because they saw an ad for that title. And 7-percent chose the book based on the cover. Mar 09 2005

I say, Bloggers Sell Books!

The Blessings Keep Coming

I’m trying my best to thank everyone for their gracious mentions of Mind & Media on their blogs. If I miss you, please email me your link because it’s not intentional.

Here are a few other very nice blog entries I am very thankful for…

Bryan at The Narrow writes Support a Fellow Blogger (that would be me :)

Warren at View from the Pew writes A Quick Reminder - to click over here and get involved!

Hal Paxton, fellow lover of the persecuted church took the time to plug Mind & Media in his post at The Great Separation called Mind & Media: A Weblog Business Launches.

Thank you gentlemen!

By the way, I love the names Christian bloggers come up with for their sites because they are all so descriptive of what we as Christians believe.

My friend Craig at Black Anthem was so kind to write this story for his website to promote what we are doing. Thank you Craig!

Stacy Harp of MediaSoul has started a new company designed to promote books through the blogosphere. She states, “We exist to help people in the media, such as authors, filmmakers, musicians and others get their message out to a targeted audience of consumers. Using carefully selected and trusted Bloggers to review and promote products, Mind & Media is the most affordable source of advertising online.” MORE

Check out Craig’s great website at http://www.blackanthem.com because it’s one of the best on the web that discusses and covers the war on terrorism.
